How can I clear up new pink skin?

Hey,





I recently had a cut on my lip and chin, which healed into a scab, and now has come off. I am left with fresh pink skin.





However it stands out from the rest of my skin, as the rest is darker, and this skin is fresh.





Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Or how long will it take for the pink skin to become normal?

It's a scar--try using that mederma for scars treatment. You can get it over the counter at any drugstore.





In the meantime, concealer is always a girls best friend. Put on your foundation first, then apply a light layer of concealer. Set this with powder, and if you still need more concealer, put on another light layer over the powder. The key to keeping this looking natural is by applying light layers, the minute you try to put on alot of make up is when you start looking like you've put on alot of make up. I have rosacea, and have redness in my cheeks that won't go away, and this is how I even out my skin tone. It works like a charm!

you can go wash your face in extremeee hot water then get a good soap rinse with extrmeeeee cold water
