i bought the new Johnson's holiday skin but when i apply it, my skin feels all moist and flaky for hours...why is this?
i apply it after showering so my skin is oil free...
How to apply new Johnson's holiday skin!!?
I also have this problem with Johnsons's. Use Superdrugs own make of holiday lotion - it's the best one I've found.

i would still follow the normal routine prior to applying any false tan.i.e,exfoliate and apply moisturiser at least 15 minutes before. It goes patchy on me other wise.
Reply:Exfoliate first then use it evenly but sparingly. Too much and it goes into rolls of goo.
Reply:Ive been using it and it feels damp for a while,i ended up using the hairdryer to dry it off a bit,its never flaky though, maybe you need to exfoliate first
Reply:rub in some normal body lotion first but make sure you rub it well in
Reply:I am not keen on this one - it rolls into little globs of gooey stuff for some reason - if you rub your hands over your skin, it sort of goes sticky! Try the Dove one instead - way better!
Reply:I had the same problem with that stuff, no matter how much I exfoliated it just went gooey and flaky, I bought some Dove instead and that is so much better, good luck.
Reply:hey i bought some of this the other day as the chemist didnt have the dove one
I found the johnsons one went flaky and gooie to. Discard it and get the dove one its way better.
If you dont want to get rid of it you could try exfoliating really well beforehand ?
Reply:Did you follow the instructions? Maybe the product's not right for you. I use garnier summerbody which works wonders on my skin. They have just introduced a new spray mist version of this.
Reply:Make sure you exfoliate before then apply as normal just like a moisturiser .
Reply:I go with a few of the answers on here swap to dove i had no problems what so ever and I'm like the ungirliest girl ever i don't do make up, skirts, pretty nails or anything pink cute and feminine and i managed to apply dove and looked pretty darn good if i do say so myself.
Reply:maybe your keeping it on to long.
