I downloaded a new skin for im, how do I use it?

I downloaded more skins for yahoo im and now have no idea how to add them to the preferences for change skin, any answers??

open that files in winzip %26amp; save it


then go to "my computer"


click c:drive


click program files


find Yahoo folder


click yahoo folder %26amp; find where the Yahoo default skin path


copy paste the new skin in Yahoo default skin path


then open ur messenger %26amp; try it!

i found the file where the messenger is stored but what you recommended did not work? Nice attempt though... Report It

Reply:If you only have one skin, thats no good. If you have for skins...then circumcise im!!!!!!!!!
Reply:click on messenger, then when if pulls down the options, click on change skins when that box opens up, click on the skin that you downloaded and then click apply, then click close, and the skin that you downloaded for messenger will automatically be applied and you should see it.
Reply:Go to the folder Yahoo! in program files in your default drive.There you see a folder called "Shared" go there and install the skin to this directory.You the restart Yahoo! Messenger.And hence you see the new skin in the Messenger%26gt;Change skin.
